Look around your environment, you will see evil everywhere and how people are struggling with it.
Look at the world, you will see evil and how the world is struggling with it.
Look at your brethren; you will see some of them struggling with evil.
A Christian should not struggle with evil. Evil (satan) is not a factor. So a Christian should not struggle with him. He is a defeated foe. Those of the world are the ones to struggle with evil and not a Christian. Evil is of the world but a Christian is not of the world. So, why is it that some Christians are struggling with evil? It is simply because they are not doing the Word of GOD in their lives and as a result of this, they struggled with evil.
A Christian is born of GOD and whatsoever is born of GOD overcome the world. And evil is of the world. So Christians have overcome evil. A Christian is an Overcomer.
The reason why some Christians struggle with evil is because they have abandoned the God-Life given to them and they are instead living the worldly-life. That is, they are not doing the Word of GOD in their lives that’s why they are struggling with evil.
When people do you evil and you reply them back with evil, you will always struggle with evil. This is what is happening with Christians who are struggling with evil. But thanks be to GOD ALMIGHTY for given us the HOLY SPIRIT Who teaches us all things and bring to our remembrance all what JESUS has said. The HOLY SPIRIT says, “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of GOD. For it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the LORD (Romans 12:19).’”
So, when people do you evil and you reply them back with evil, you have taken avenge yourself and because of this, you will struggle with evil.
Now, the HOLY SPIRIT teaches and shows us how to overcome evil in our daily lives. For the LORD says, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).” That’s how simple it is to overcome evil.
Now, you can clearly see that we overcome evil with good. So never repay evil with evil. When someone do you evil, never reply them back with evil but with good. Never avenge yourself no matter what people do to you. Always leave it to GOD because vengeance belongs to HIM alone and HE has promised to repay.
When you do these, you will no more struggles with evil.
Finally, we overcome evil in our environment, nations and the world by doing good. GOD is good. Do HIS Word.
